ALICE MILLS
Composer and Artist

BIO
Alice Mills is a composer and artist from Surrey, England. Her passion for music and technology has led her to be particularly interested in interweaving the richness of orchestral instruments with the infinite spectrum of electronic sounds.
Driven by a love of art, Alice found herself drawn to the collaborative nature of film, and loves weaving her music into visual narratives. She has worked on numerous award-winning short films, dance works and animations, as well as her own personal music.
Alice has had her work performed across Scotland by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra at the 'Music of John Williams' concert in 2024, whilst part of the orchestras 'Composers Lab' mentoring programme. In 2025 she worked with the Irene Taylor Trust on the Lullaby Project where she composed and orchestrated music for musicians of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Growing up, she was classically trained in piano, violin and clarinet. However, her studies in music technology at Surrey University ignited a passion for experimentation with use of technology.

Aside from composing, she is a sound engineer, painter, and production designer.
